I talked to one of my scout.com guys a few minutes ago.

I'm not talking about Crowell, you alll know the story.

But Poz has a very sore ankle and was extremely limited in practice. Jauron said he's "optimistic" he could play, but from what I gathered he didnt look good, and John D. may end up starting or getting plenty of time at MLB.

Also.. Spencer Johnson was limited in practice because of a very sore back.

And Ellison was on the field with the starters at SLB, and Poz, who again was limited to begin with, didnt see a snap at OLB.

So are you saying that he is likely doubtful for the game??

i'm not saying anything, I wasnt there. One of the other guys from scout.com was there. I dont have that beat assignment.

I think he'll be listed as probable, as Jauron said he's optimistic he can play. I"m just reporting that he doesnt look very good moving around.

And I had no idea about Spencer Johnson until just now either.

If this team has any of the backup LBs on the field for any significant time this year, then we are in BIG trouble. This group is very mediocre...at best!

Well the good thing is I guess that Julius Jones doesn't really scare me as a back, Maurice Morris though could.

Really, seeing the luck this team has had, it wouldn't shock me if another star got seriously injured rolling out of bed Sunday morning.

Damn I wish we drafted Conor now

Honestly, sometimes you have to make your own luck and this team doesn't do it. Injuries happen, you need to have a plan B in place in case they do. This staff didn't do their homework on this one.

Sometimes injuries are unpreventable and you can't have depth everywhere on anyteam with a salary cap.

But in this specific case, they knew Crowell was struggling and not only did they have a better plan B than Ellison in place, they didnt even keep more than 6 freegin LB's on the roster.

Unreal.

Well Poz has 3 days to feel better, Im sure he'll be fine. a 70% Poz is a little bit better than a 100% Digi

dude you gotta spend more time on here. The Crowell and Poz stuff was up before lunchtime, the Johnson stuff in the injury report around mid-afternoon.

We drafted Bowen and he's on IR now. With our luck the same would have happened to Conor.

Did they not draft Bowen? He's on IR now. They brought in Spragen but that's who's left. It's not like you can pick up Pro Bowl LB's at Home Depot. So what, pray tell, should their Plan "B" entailed? Buggs on the PS?

And Bowen must have been kicking ass in TC because Paul Hamilton was very positive about him.

For those that are unaware, Paul Hamilton would ***** about LaDanian Tomlison if he played for the Bills.

I'm really starting to wonder about our trainers or how we are running practice.

Poz LOOKS great, but he seems like he is made of glass....gets hurt way too easily.

I am afraid that he may be too injury prone to ever make it as an NFL linebacker.

....I hope I'm wrong....

Shane Conlan and Poz may have more than Penn State in common. Great players with short careers.

From Chris Brown's blog.

"POZ LISTED AS QUESTIONABLE: In the Friday injury report Paul Posluszny is listed as questionable, but talking to him after practice today he sounded ready to go on Sunday. Considering how long he's been waiting to play I think he'd play on one foot at this point, but he looked to be moving around well and I expect him to play."
