Neither worse than the fans, who now pay to see Keith Ellison as our starting LB for the season.

APparently, that was the best we can, even though we knew all summer Crowell was fighting a bad knee.

If Crowell was fighting a bad knee all summer, he should have had surgery weeks to months ago. Having surgery is ultimately up to the player, as the last several hours' events prove. What I want to know is, what was Ellison waiting for and is this how he envisioned it would play out?

And yes, we the Bills fans are the ones mostly getting screwed. But a good portion of the blame is at the feet of the players.

We had Bowen and he got put on IR. We might have made adjustments sooner if Crowell would have decided to have surgery earlier.
