Thurm, did you ever consider the possibility that he is only being signed for this week? They are already into preparations for week 1, so any veteran they bring in is not going to be ready.

Also, most teams wait until after week 1 to sign a veteran because they don't want to guarantee their full salary for the year. If they sign a guy for week 2, not only would they have more of a chance to get him ready but he would be playing week-to-week. If he doesn't work out, you release him and bring in someone else.

I am slightly different. I react to things that actually HAVE HAPPENED. Not things that MAY happen.

I want to get hammered at Brunners but it is on the complete opposite side of town. I need to get back to South Buffalo at some point.
