As the 2008 National Football League season begins, the Buffalo Bills once again rank last in one category: ticket prices.
According to the annual “Fan Cost Index” published by Team Marketing Report, the Bills have the league’s cheapest costs — at least for a game at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Even with a 10.3 percent price hike, the Bills average ticket cost of $51.24 is lowest among the NFL’s 32 teams, and less than half that of the New England Patriots. Buffalo’s AFC East Division rival has an average ticket charge of $117.84, up nearly 30 percent from a season ago.
