The NFL is a giant, monsterous corporation. It kills all competition and has priced many fans out of attending the games.
However, during the 1PM games I flipped over to the Jets-Phins game that went down to the final play when the Bills game was well in hand. My local Fox feed showed the end of the Carolina SD game that the Panthers won on the final play of the game. It has been an exciting day for me, and I have barely left my living room.
For me, the rest of the world absolutely shuts down from about 10AM to Midnight on Sundays during football season.
