Let me first say it was great to see all of you again and especially to meet some new members this weekend. I still have yet to meet one zoner that rubs me the wrong way in person besides Danny. We all had a great time this weekend and can't wait to do it again.
I thought Duff's wings were pretty good but I definitely prefer the atmosphere and layout of the Anchor Bar. As far as Brunner's I thought it was OK too. It reminds me of a little bar we have here in Chambersburg. Thanks again to Lecter for hooking that up.
As far as the game: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Not only the outcome of the game itself but as most of you know it was my boy's first Bills game and I must say he was one heck of a trooper. I was a little afraid just before the game when it started raining and he had only taken a short 1/2 hour nap but the weather and his tiredness had absolutely no impact on him as you can see from some of the pictures.
I kept trying to put a blanket and poncho over his head but he would rip it off immediately each and every time. Wanted none of that. He was soaked, probably a bit cold and visibly tired but stuck out almost the whole game (he fell asleep with about 5 minutes left). Little guy was high-fiving everyone around us, laughing and pointing at the field and basically just loving the game the entire time. Also, he's a little pimp as all the Jills loved him and he got me on the radio with Norton. He made a ton of friends and although he probably won't remember any of it, I have the pictures and video of his experience forever. I guess he's a natural football and BILLS fan!
I can honestly say that being at the game was one of the most beautiful moments I've ever experienced in my life to this point- 71,000+ of my best friends, my wife, and my beautiful little 1 year old all together in one of my favorite places on Earth.
Absolutely wonderful.
Here are the rest of the pictures.
