Anybody else as evil and messed up like me? Tom Brady cheers, thank you.

I'll be honest. Before last week, I was saying that I would love to see someone break his leg.

Now that he's actually gone, I'm a little surprised. This does put the AFC East up for grabs, but the Pats are still going to be tough, IMO.

I would never wish for someone to get injured. As much as I hate the Patriots I would not wish for even Brady to get hurt...
I do find it ironic that Moss calls the hit on Brady dirty yet all the Patriot fans thought the hit on Losman was clean.

i certainly laughed and instantly texted every pats fan i knew to heckle them, ran outside naked and drank myself into oblivion and praised Jesus that the day I had been praying for the last few years or so has finally come true.

Nothing to big though.

I didn't wish for it to happen but shnit happens and if it had to happen to anyone, it should happen to those who cheat. Karma.

BTW, Moss can cry and tell everyone it was a dirty play all he wants. It was unintentional and if you ask the KC player, he has friends on the Pats team too.

I didn't exactly jump up and down and cheer, but I was definitely happy about it.

When it first happened, I saw it on the Game Mix channel but I didn't get too excited because I figured he'd be back. The Patriots usually only have good luck. As the news got worse, I definitely got happier.

This is the first time in my life that I was ever happy to hear about an injury. I even felt bad for Marino when he tore his Achilles and missed a season. But the Patriots, their coach and their fans deserve this for their arrogance and cheeting

I can never wish upon or feel good about someone who beats us because they are just damn good.

I *can*, however, cheer for people who are dirty players to get injured. Here's to another knee injury to Rodney Harrison.

Sorry about the bad karma but I hate Brady's guts, on and off the field. The guy is the second biggest cocky ******* in the world, right next to Bellicheat.

I hope they have to amputate that ****ing leg, then his model girlfiend dumps his sorry ass, then all the vegas bosses chase him down and take all his money for making them lose their money for betting on the Patriots, so he ends up broke ass, alone and crippled for life.

I might then pity him a bit and throw him a quarter.

ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNYONE who wasn't happy to hear this news is kidding themselves.

I'm not even going to get into the obvious implications it has for the Bills on the field, as well as the rest of the AFC.

But, I heard some people swearing at me in the stadium yesterday (when I was cheering and dancing ) when they announced that Brady hurt his knee.

"You shouldn't wish injury on anyone you *******" riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

If anyone would be ok after suffering an injury like this, it's Brady or ANYONE else that's lucky enough to play in this league. We often forget guys like him make MILLIONS of dollars PLAYING A GAME....they are catered to every minute of every day, and have access FOR FREE to some of the best doctors in the world.

I would never wish death on anyone, thats for damn sure....but wishing that Brady gets the year off to collect his enourmous paycheck, while giving the team I root for a better chance at winning? I'd do that allll day long.

Our section was also talking about the injury before the half. We were all checking our cell phones and trying to get the latest. Someone kept getting text messages in my row from someone who lives near Boston and kept hearing more info leak out about him suffering a torn ACL. The buzz was flowing and many people in my section was high fiving.

Apparently I'm in the minority based on the responses in this thread, but cheering an injury and actually wanting someone to have to undergo surgery is pretty low in my opinion. I hate Brady because he is the face for a team that has beaten us over and over again. I want to beat them with Brady on the field, knock him down and hit him so hard we take his will away. Sorry, but an injury to a player - even one that play's for a division rival - is not something to cheer about.

That being said, I am pumped up even more about our chances now. Our chances just got much better, and the team had a great win yesterday. Injuries are such are part of the game that we just accept them and shrug our shoulders, but to wish injury on someone else and revel in it's happening just seems like very bad karma. I don't feel bad for Brady or bad for the Patriots - injuries are part of the game - but no, I don't feel right cheering an injury.

He comes from a team proven to cheat, kick, play dirty or do whatever it takes to win. Now they are at an even playing field. Yes, it stinks he won't be able to pay a GAME for a whole entire year...blah, blah, blah... but would we be cheering if this happened to another QB in a different division or conference?... NO!

I wouldn't expect someone to understand who criticizes and judges any other man's actions unless they were perfect themselves. I find that even more sickening.

We're hardcore Bills fans who have been tormented by a team filled with low morals from coach to player and we just saw their poster boy (who they use as front to portray their "holier than thou" image) go down for a whole season, in turn, giving us a better chance to reach the postseason since '99.

I'll say it again - I'm disappointed in this thread.

Sure, there's no real reason to feel bad for Tom Brady. He'll only miss a season, and get paid hansomely while not really having to do anything. Plus, even if his football days ended right now, the guy's already had a career that anyone in the NFL would envy.

That said, there's just something wrong about being happy to see an opponent's star player get injured. Being happy that the competition will not be as good now is a loser's mentality--winners want to measure themselves against the best. I.e. the Giants beat the Pats fair and square with Tom at the helm--now if we do the same and win the division there will always be a caveat.

Lame.

Anybody who has played sports before knows that you never want to see a guy get injured because A) It sucks and B) Because you want to beat them at their best, not because you needed some injury to help you out.

Anybody who has played sports before knows that you never want to see a guy get injured because A) It sucks and B) Because you want to beat them at their best, not because you needed some injury to help you out.

Im very dissapointed in this thread and the reaction in this board. Very similar to Philly and Oakland fans in that regard and its quite disturbing what many have said.

While I also agree the cheering of the injury is disturbing, to say winning the East would not count is silly. Injuries are part of the game and there will be no asterik if Buffalo or the Jets win the division.

But I would prefer to beat a Brady led Pats.

I hope Tom Brady is able to have a normal life outside football. But i hope he is never the same. And i'd be happy if he never played A GAINNNNNNNNNN!!!

Again i would never wish him harm outside field.

Actually I want him back but not at same level. A gimp with less mobility would be my number one hope. I hope he tears his throwing arm too.

It would count, but it wouldnt really be the same. While injuries are part of the game athletes know that it doesn't really matter until your best beat their best. Unfortunately it happens less frequently now.

Anyone who cheered the fact that Tom Brady shredded his knee in this thread, let me know when you break, dislocate or tear something. So I can sit there and cheer that your you're layed up for weeks and have to go through PT.

Make sure you do this for me.

Thanks!

You may get that chance next year vs a less mobile Brady.

Make sure you do this for me. No correlation to each example.

Thanks!

We aren't football players.

A better example would be if you plead not guilty to a traffic ticket and the cop that gave you ticket TORE HIS ACL Getting out of his car walking in to get a donut. Therefore missing court date and you getting off! I'd cheer that too with wreckless abandon!!!

As it directly effects you. Brady affects Bills OUR team. Ticket affects us too

Your example was dumb. But i may cheer you getting a heart attack cause you're a ......

Let me ask you this... Did you ever cheer or feel happy when a human being lost his life?
