Russel is so far back in his development as a QB, was #1 overall draft pick.
Looks to be in way over his head.
Trent Edwards is light years ahead of him, not bad for a late 3rd round pick.

The Raiders are the stupidest team every year. They kill themselves with penalties and mistakes.
The OL stinks, I bet they miss Langston Walker alot more then he misses them.
The Owner wants to get rid of the Coach, but does not want to pay him.
Al Davis is responsible for the mess that is the Raiders.

From what I have seen in the first week of the season, I think Oakland will be picking first in the draft again.

The conversation was about "hidden talents" late round picks or undrafted free agents who made it big and Ditka says"yeah look at that kid Johnson from Tennessee what did he go in the 4th round or something" good job Ditka. Yes, just like Kyle Boller, Rex Grossman, JP Losman, Tim Couch, Ryan Leaf, Akili Smith were all dangerous QBs too!

The jury is still out but mentally it needs to click that he cannot win and be successful on physical ability alone because everyone at this level has the physical ability.

Not everyone can can turn that corner, especially if you're mired on a bad team where you have to carry more of the load.
