NEW YORK (April 26, 2003) -- Were you surprised that the Bears took you?
I was really surprised to be honest. I hadn't had a lot of contact with them, but it all worked out.
Did you think you would go as high as you did?
I was a little surprised. I thought it would be a bit lower. We were sitting there, hanging out, and next thing you know Chicago called and everybody erupted. We were like, "Holy crap! I just went No. 14."
