View Full Version : Can we be 5-0 by the bye?

Based on who we play, how they've all looked so far, and how we played Sunday, I think a 5-0 start is doable. Arizona may be a tough game, but I still think we can do it. Thoughts?

One week at a time. But we should definitally be in pretty good shape come bye week. Let's just hope for no major injuries.

Those of you that are chalking up Jacksonville as an easy win could be in for a huge disappointment. The chances of Jacksonville playing as poorly as they did last Sunday are slim. I don't care how many injuries they have on their o-line.

No one's saying it will be easy, but it's possible.

why don't you just go ahead and get ahead of yourself some more with a 16-0 prediction. after just one game.

You'd think we won the SB on Sunday with some of the posts but the energy is a fine site to see as well. It alot better than we are dead and the sky fell, that's for sure.

BTW ~1 billion rep and 2.2 million ZB's in the bank, not bad.

LOL, you know me all too well. Just hit me with some full positive rep here and there and we're cool. I like your style if posting, realistic but not overly doomed.

If we were 4-1 after 5, I'd be one happy mofo.

But I agree that 5-0 is definitely a possibility.

Hhaha, i love this ****.

It's a verrry good possibilty i think..If we keep playing like we have and just take it 1 week at a time..its very possible..

They have a good chance to be 8-4 after 12 games.

i still think 4-1, and as far as NE goes, instead of 0-2, 1-1 is more likely, as well as a split with the jet frave, and the new york brets

2-0 would be nice.

This is the perfect time to be playing Jacksonville just like it was the perfect time to play the Seahawks.

We can't rely on the Special teams to win us every game.

Can we rely on our D to win us every game like the D won it for us against Seattle?

I disagree. It was a total team effort for the most part that won us the game.

The Offense was ok. The Bills first TD was setup by the 32 yard pass to Evans who didn't have both feet in. The first 4 drives stunk. 13 total first downs, and 4-16 on 3rd down. The O still needs alot of improvement.

The D played great against the Seahawks not considering how injuried Seattle was on offense.

Special Teams played even better. Setting up or scoring 24 of the Bills 34 points. If any 1 unit won the Bills the game it was the Special Teams.

why does everyone say that?

It's probably a good chance that our ST's will be a big part of our success the entire year, so yea we can rely on our special teams to help us win, they're that good..

We could be 7-1 at the midpoint of this season ... Holy crap wait a minute are you kidding me?

If we get by the Jags this weekend, and now with Brady out, a lot of Monday Night magic at home against Cleveland, and if we play our hearts out AT HOME against the Chargers, there isn't a game that we shouldn't win until we get to Week 16 against Denver!

HOLY CRAP!

Lets get to 2-0 before we talk 5-0 but if our Defense plays the way it did for the next 5 games, we can be 5-0!!!

Crisis

our schedule sure does look a lot easier than last year...especially with brady out.

can never know what happens, let's just worry about the jags this week because they're still a playoff team and beating them head-to-head might pay huge dividends if we're in a tiebreaker situation with them at the end of the year.

it's hard to not look ahead, but man a lot of those games look very winnable- especially with brady out.

if we beat the jags I think we can go 16-0 by mid-season oops, I mean before the by.

The special teams scored 14 of the 34 points.

And they setup another 10.

A) Caused fumble on kickoff. Very next play Bills score TD.

B) Right before half Seattle punts the ball 22 yards out of bounds. Because they didn't want Roscoe to return another one.

What's your point? Our special teams is the best in the league. When a team has a great O or D is it considered a fluke every week?

Our Special teams is going to continue to give us opportunities like they have the last few years, the difference now is that we will capitalize on those!

OUR DEFENSIVE LINE SHOULD DOMINATE THEIR OFFENSIVE LINE.

IF WE CAN STAY OUTTA TURN OVERS WE SHOULD BEAT THEM.

ONE GAME AT A TIME !

2-0 WOULD BE SWEET- WHEN THE SCHEDULE CAME OUT- I THOUGHT WE WOULD BE 0-2.

So let me get this straight: Jax is missing 3 starters on its O-line, and they will be okay...but if the Bills were missing Jason Peters our whole season was over??? How about a little balance here?

There is not a game on the schedule that is not winnable, so 5-0 at the bye is definitely possible. Buffalo has to continue to play well though.

The difference between this team and teams in years past is this years team has the potential to win any game on any given Sunday. No, I do not expect them to win them all. I still think a 10-6 record is about right. With Brady out their is no game on the schedule that is not winnable which makes it a lot more exciting.
