All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
Favre was interviewed today and said they should not be the favorite to win the AFC east. That the Patriots are until someone can prove otherwise. He said "We barely beat Miami".
What the media says has nothing to do with that happens on Sundays, so who gives a damn? Let them think Favre is superman; it'll just be that much sweeter when they get stomped by Stroud and Co.
not just in sports, but every industry in the world, when changes happen, people often look to who has more money or spent more money as a guage to figure out who will make the biggest changes.
The jets went after big names and spent more. Until there are head to heads, no one will give buffalo a nod because the team is a team and not a spattering of random individuals.
one example is "little ms Sunshine". Originally, that movie was cast with Robin williams. They figured spending the money on a big name well known guy who make it a success. He backed out and they took at the time a little known Steve Carrell who hadn't started the office yet.
If in those weeks leading up to the movies release, i think people wouldn't have given the movie a shot to be as big as it was. but it worked because they got the better people for the job and not just the name and money.
sometimes paying the money is the best option, sometimes its not.
