    Vic Carrucci's Power Rankings...

The Cowboys looked the part of Super Bowl contender in Week 1. While Dallas is rewarded with the No. 1 spot in this week's rankings, the Patriots aren't so fortunate.

If we dominate this week, then I'd say top 12 would be appropriate. But I don't think we're ready to be ranked at #8 yet. Hopefully I get proved wrong this week.

Maybe people are starting to realize the importance of special teams.

Some of those rankings are a bit off. I don't think the Bears should be in the top 10, and Denver shouldn't be 12th.

Green Bay is about 10 spots too high as well. Carolina is too high, so is SD.

Vic's rankings are flattering as a Bills fan, but they flat out suck overall.

Notice the Bills are #3 in the AFC and #s 1 and 2 both lost their openers.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

It will be interesting how the AFC plays out. All the powerhouses except for Pittsburgh are hurting. NE- nuff said, Jacksonville-no Oline, Indy- OL hurting big time w/out Saturday and San Diego- no Merriman and Gates hurting.
