    Senior Season Review

"This past season didn't really go as well as I had wanted it to because I was hurt a lot. I'm so used to playing corner but I played free safety which added a couple dimensions to my game. Through my career at Northwestern State I played well enough for an NFL team to recognize what I can do."

    Feeling Good

"I'm past pleased. I didn't really expect to do as well as I did on the board. I had pretty good workouts so that raised my stock. I'm happy to be where I am. At first, I was thinking sixth or seventh round. I didn't really know where I was going but I knew it was going to be a better pick than in the seventh round."

    Solid Workouts

"I think mostly my forty time because at the combine I ran a 4.5. When the Bills came I ran 4.4 flat. It was the first time talking to the Bills when they came to my workout."

    Expectations

"I just want to contribute and play consistent football. I don't need to get in there and be the most exciting player. I just want to play consistently and do what the coaches ask me to do."

    Position

"I'm a punt return specialist. Hopefully the Bills will give me a chance to do that. That's something I really enjoy."

    Prove yourself

"People want to know if you can go against higher competition. Coming from nowhere guys are going to knock on you, but I just want to go out there and prove that I can play. Even if I went to a Division 1-AA school, just to prove I can cover the best people and play with the highest competition."

    Reaction to pick

"I was in bed. I heard the phone ring so I didn't get to watch it on TV. I was happy. I didn't really expect it."

he looks like he could be a good punt returner.. i still think this was the one reach of the draft. even he said he was in bed when they called him, and he was expecting 6th or 7th round pick
