I have a 300 for media and a 250 as it's back up, but the 250 is already full...

Now the 500 can be the media drive and the other two can be backups :up:I have 750 external. Both CPUs, mine and the kids, have 250s in them. My machine also has a 120 which is partitioned to 40 for the OS and 80 for my incoming dls.

And someone once told me to buy a zip drive when I got my comp in '01. He said I'd be lost without it...muwahaha.

That is kind of what I was thinking. Plus having it right away isn't an emergency. I wasn't even planning on buying the HD so it's not like I can't wait another week or two before setting things up. It will just be nice to have.

Actually bought a $30 Roswill hard drive case on on newegg and it was pure crap. Would just disconnect itself after being on for a few minutes. Just got one in the mail for 25 bucks and it is pretty cheaply made (a lot of plastic) but works great so far.

don't buy the one I linked to. It's an IDE HD with an EXTERNAL SATA interface that won't work with this HDD. The description is VERY unclear and I got in an argument with them over it. And I still have it because the company was going to charge me a restocking fee AND shipping to return it, so I would have only gotten $5 back.

I will NEVER do business with coolerexpress.com again.

If anyone needs an IDE enclosure, I'll sell it to you dirt cheap. Scratch that, I'll give it to you - just pay for the shipping.

So, I still need to find a SATA enclosure.
