Wisconsin barely held off Fresno St, Auburn beat MS St 3-2, and BYU moved up almost 5 spots from their week 2 rankings. Oregon came from way back to win that game, which is very impressive.

True but Fresno State is a better team then Purdue.

Yes, but Tulane isn't and they almost beat ECU, MS St maybe is and they almost beat Auburn. The point is that close games are going to happen and the good teams find a way to win those games.
