Can somebody do me a favor and tune into one of the HD channels and tell me what they see? This week I'm getting a 'channel not purchased' error..

oh that could be a HUGE issue. I'm at work and I set the game to record- if it doesn't work I'm gonna call DirecTV and raise holy hell.

When I signed up for Superfan I asked the lady if she'd 'comp' me, and she tried - but since I only have Sunday Ticket and no regular programming she said the system wouldn't allow it.. So, I told her to go ahead and sign me up for $99.

I haven't seen a charge on my account though, so I thought maybe I got away with one, that the free Superfan went through after all.. But everybody got it for free last week, so now I'm wondering. I HATE f'n calling Directv..

Are you getting that on an HD channel? One that ends in -1?

Called up my ex and she said she got it for me. Don't ask me why she was so nice. She asked if I wanted her to go pick up pizza for him so we don't have to wait 2 hours and get cold pizza from the BIG APPLE RESTAURANT lol. Gotta love civil exs cause it sure as hell doesn't happen much to me.

Gotta love the game in HD.

JJ do you know if they are actually broadcasting in 1080 yet?

They allowed a certain trail period that ended today.
As of today you had to pay for it.

Unfortunately, they never mentioned that.

It depends on the local station, CBS and NBC broadcast everything in 1080i I think, FOX and ABC is 720p. If you meant 1080p, nobody broadcasts in that yet, and won't for a while.

Sports arguably look better in 720p anyway since its aired at 60fps (1080i is 30).
