I AGREE.......I really would like to see this guy as a starter in the future

Great way to ease him in the game today, and then great way to build up his confidence by throwing him that clutch pass at the end...Can't ask much more from a rookie....:bf1:

What I thought was most outstanding was the complexity of the play.

Everyone and his uncle knew from the April draft we were going to throw that pass.

But........They lined him up as the inside guy on a trips right, and used the other two who were outside to run slants.

In man, which they were in, I don't think it is possible to cover those three patterns.

Clutch catch. i knew before the challenge was resolved that both his feet were inbounds. Simply outstanding!

Great catch, great feet. Perfect time to put him in and call the play. Though I'd have been happier if they'd done it on second down, by the time Edwards threw that ball my nerves were shot.

Very big catch. He does still look alittle stiff out there but it was a clutch catch.

I just glad they finally decided to give him some game action. That's exactly what we got him for. GREAT CATCH!

After that catch he is going to be listed as 6' 9"

he is going to a be a beast in the redzone.

Hell yeah! This is why we drafted this guy.

Imagine this....game 2 of his rookie season and he does this.

How well does this bode for the future????

man can that guy jump

when he scores a td like that he should celebrate by jumping up and sticking the ball on top of the goalpost near the flag

Great catch

but

I want to see him become more involved between the 20s. They looked like the 07 offense for too long, with no downfield threat. Trent looked but had to check down

So far the Bills seem to be adding a twist or two to each game. Hardy will be in there more, I got a feeling after the bye, the long ball will make its presence known.

i like the playing time he got. he's still got a hamstring issue to work with. it's not like he's just jogging. we need him at his peak. and if he needs until the bye week to be getting spot duty, i'm ok with it.

the bills finally have the ability to have some depth to have the luxury to bring hardy along at his own pace. use that luxury.

Him being a tall WR helps. Having good feet placement and hands is a plus! He came up big today with that end zone catch.

He needs to have good footwork--did you notice how big his feet are!?!

That play was why the Bills drafted him and why they are easing him into the lineup by using him in the red zone, first, where he can help them by doing what he did today. And, it will only get better from here as he continues to improve as a NFL player. By the second half of the season he should be a real weapon in this offense.

Good thing there wasn't a good angle on his footing because it looked like his right foot might've been an inch over the line.

James Hardy's confidence will go waaaaay up after that and now we will start seeing more and more big plays out of him

I think the referee standing six feet away and staring straight at Hardy's feet and the line had a pretty good angle.

I totally agree...it's only the second game of this kid's pro career, and he's already made an impact....a GAME WINNING CATCH.

Nowhere to go but UP from here....

Him, Royal, and Jackson will be something special. Sweed, Thomas, Kelly, and Avery will be busts.

Exactly. I can't say enough about the playcalling. SO MUCH more intelligent than in recent years.
