    Regardless of Jags' intention, veterans face challenges

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Mark Brunell isn't going to give his job up easily.

    The day after the Jacksonville Jaguars drafted Brunell's potential replacement, Byron Leftwich, in the first round, Brunell made it clear he still thinks he's the guy who should be starting at quarterback in Jacksonville.

    "Sure, we got a first-round quarterback, but I'm not going to lay down," Brunell said Sunday. "I'm going to fight for my job and produce."

    Leftwich's pick and Brunell's future were the headline makers for the Jaguars over draft weekend, although they weren't the only interesting topics.
