Re: Anyone watching the Pats/Jets game?
The Pats still have a good defense and a solid offensive line with some great skill players around Cassel. It would be foolish to under-estimate them.
And, you know that Belicheat and his players all wanted to make a statement this week against Favre and the Jets, particularly with the way that the NYC area press and the media were proclaiming the Jets the favorites to win the AFC East after Brady got hurt. Since Mangini turned Belicheat in and started the Spygate scandal, the Jets vs Pats has become a blood-feud between the two coaches. Their games are always going to be grudge-matches with a lot of "drama" being played up by the media. Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. And, thus it was that they surrendered their freedom; not with a bang, but without even a whimper.
