Just how many of us would be crapping our shorts right now if "Bellychick" had used his 4th pick in the second round to pick up WM???
Think about it....

I wouldn't be... but for a different reason.

1. They do not have a 1200+ yard back. Sorry Smith just doesn't have it. So that pick would have been a great gamble for them.

2. He either would not have played this year at all, or he would have played, and possibly not been as effective.

I see the point in your question though.

Big diff between a 2nd and a first round pick (especially when you essentially traded a future Pro-Bowl rcvr for it)

Boy I wish he would have, than we could have taken a player that might have filled a NEED!

Yeah, we could have drafted for need and picked up Kelsay in Rd 1. Drafting for need only is dangerous.

Future probowl receiver? lol, he has speed, but he runs sloppy routes, he has decent but not great hands, cant block, and cant break tackles(he can evade them). He benifited from Moulds and Bledsoe, and was an outstanding no. 2 here, but probably only a decent no. 1 reciever in Atlanta.

Who is Sorry Smith? Is he any relation to Terrible Terry and Larry the Loser?

Or the Bills could have traded up and selected Warren/McDougal. Or they could have traded down and got an extra pick. Their hands weren't tied, they had choices.

TD really wanted WM. I don't think it was a case of "well, we don't want to reach."

I don't mind the pick. I mind the potential for disruption. Team Chemistry is a fragile thing. Ahh well, at least our Buckeyes can haze the new guy.
