I was listening to the Jacksonville sports show today and they said the jags blew it when they failed to draft Lee Evans and the defensive performance by the Jags when the game was on the line............was another Greg Williams blunder

In all honesty when we drafted Lee Evans I was upset. As felt Reggie Williams was going to be a better player because he offered better size and worried Lee Evans would struggle being a smaller guy.

Of course no one's perfect because looking back at one of my earlier posts from that draft in 2003.

Until we know who's here and who isn't, the draft still a big question mark. Right now I see our biggest need of improvement are (1)O-line play (2)Pass Rush (3)QB play.

That said I would NOT take a QB with our 1st pick rather I'd go with a DE like Will Smith or else TE Kellen Winslow. I'd also consider S Sean Taylor if none of the above are available as I'm also not in favor of taking a WR high unless it's Fitzgerald or one of the Williams'.

That said Antoine Winfield leaves and we don't get a replacement for him in free agency then I'd grab a CB with our top pick, my favorite being Derek Strait of Oklahoma.

As much as I dislike GW, the Jax defense was the lesser of their problems.

Their offense was pathetic.
When Matt Jones didn't dive for that touchdown pass, I'd have benched him.

They seemed lethargic on offense the entire day.

What I really, really liked was us running the corner blitz, (a GW signature play), against them on the first play, with Youboty drilling Garrard.

Kind of like:
"We know you, and we are better than you."

they should've brought in donahoe who then would've brought in malarkey as OC. You would've had the Munster family.

Jacksonville's defense played pretty well, I think. I think the Bills' offense is developing the ability to beat good defenses. If I'm right, were going to see the Bills be productive versus teams like the Patriots, and other perennial defensive powerhouses.
