I think these rankings are crazy. New England isn't even in there.

Now you see, my rankings are WAAYYY better than that.

I would put the Steelers ahead of us.

The Eagles are not that bad either. In fact, I think he Eagles are underrated and should be ahead of us as well.

Really, why should NE be in there?...they beat (not by a lot) on two teams who are not strong per se. Power rankings should not be based on previous seasons successes/failures. I think the Bills at 5 may be high though. Bills I would think should be between 6-10

The pats slipped by the chiefs and jets... that doesn't speak of top 15 to me... so even on my list, they are currently not top 15.

Broncoes and Steelers should be ahead of us. Maybe even Eagles, and perhaps even NE, though it hurts me to say it. We havent proved enough yet.

#5 is very generous, to say the least.

I still don't get how people don't have the Giants at #1.

They came into the season as defending champs and haven't loss yet. What have they done to lose that #1 spot?

Vic is a Buffalo guy. Wrote for the Buffalo news for years. He's hooking up his bros.

Maybe because the two biggest reasons they won the SB are not there, Strahan and Umenyiora

They have a 21 game regular season winning streak. I know Brady isn't there, but until they lose, I think it's crazy to not think of them as a top team. Don't get me wrong, I hope they lose their next 14, but I think they're still much better than people give them credit for.

What's with the NE love?

They beat the Chiefs and Jets, two basement dwellers last year, and albeit by very little, and we've beaten two ex-playoff teams, one that has been to the playoffs for several years now. We also beat the Jaguars IN Jacksonville.

The Steelers beat the Texans and Browns.

Denver beat Oakland and should've lost to San Diego.

Eagles beat the Rams and lost to the Cowboys.

Giants and Cowboys at one and two, I completely agree with.

If Power Rankings were based on past years, then hell yeah, the Bills should be around 5 with the early 90's teams, right?

What's past it past. Power Rankings are for this year, not what happened last year.

PS. Has anyone noticed who the top AFC team is? :hump:

Your argument is flawed. How many of those players from the early 90's still play on the Bills?

And if it were true that these rankings are based solely on this year's performance then San Diego and Minnesota are two of the worst teams in the league.

Whoa whoa whoa...we're the 5th ranked team in the NFL??

Jeesh...like...I know we look good but...not 5th overall good...I'm sorry, they haven't proven it quite yet...i'd say theyre like 10th.

But that's bad ass to see, 5th...man...thats a lot better than our 23rd-ish ranking we had last year around this time.

Probably because despite winning the SB last year, most people don't think they are the best team. The Giants got hot at the right time last year, but I think there were better teams then them.

If the Cowboys and Giants were playing this weekend, would you pick the Giants? I don't think I would.

I thought the same thing until last night's game. Dallas's defense got torn up and could've easily lost that game. If Dallas and NYG played, the outcome would be largely affected by where the game is at. It could really go either way.

Yeah, I wasn't overly impressed with the Cowboys last night, but I didn't think that much of the Giants either watching them against the Redskins. My point is, I don't think it's that unreasonable to think there are better teams right now then the Giants.
