Ben Troupe was released by the Bucs. The reason I bring him up is because a lot of people wanted to sign him as a FA. He is available now if we want him.

He's definitely a more talented receiver than any of the TE's on the Bills roster, but to be released after only two weeks, there is obviously something else going on.

He wasn't in Buffalo because the fans paid his plane ticket here, and he didn't end up in Tampa because the Bills wouldn't have signed him.

And honestly, although I'm not high on Fine I'd rather go with a guy who "might" be a contributor over a guy who has proven time and time again that he ISN'T a contributor.

Apparently they didn't try very hard or he would have signed. Turn it around.... why did Tampa think he was the most expendable when they had 52 other guys they could have cut? Especially when you've got a guy like Stevens who is constantly in trouble with the law. After watching Troupe in Tennessee for a few years I thought it was pretty clear why a team wouldn't want him.

Ok, so what's his excuse for not performing in Tampa? He clearly didn't impress anyone or they wouldn't have cut him. You have to really suck balls to make the 53 just to get cut two weeks into the season, especially on a team with TE's as bad as Tampa's.

And he wasn't good enough to beat out Stevens, Smith, or Gilmore. But honestly, who are you going to cut from our squad to sign him?

Sign Troupe and he will not even dress on game day.

He has talent, but limited brains. I assume you Bryan, and he hasben playing and doing fairly well for a 4th DE. The Bills will not cut Constanzo and go down to 5 LBs. And most teams carry 3 QBs. A dumbass TE is not a better fit than a 3rd QB.
