- McGahee is put on the PUP for the season
- Bills will take the top 9 defenders on the DL- based solely on performance in camp and in preseason games. No one gets a pass based on "where they were drafted". A trade is a possibility for a mid to late draft pick if all come through preseason healthy and compeditive.
- Henry gets the same yards/Carries as last season. However, the Bills will increase their rushing YPG average by 35-40 yards.
This will be achieved by Gary getting more garbage time, maybe more goal line- short yardage situations/ and some involvement of the FB's in the rushing game. (Gash)
- Bledsoe's Passing numbers will stay the same, possibly decreasing in the neighboorhood of 10-15% in Yards/Atts/Comp. Interceptions and sacks will be significantly reduced by a more balanced offense.
- Moulds will have the same numbers as the past season, Reed will get 900 or so yards, 60-70 receptions. Shaw gets some time, Aikens will only see spot duty unless there is a significant injury in the receiving corps. C Johnson gets cut. (Possibly replaced by another veteran cut)
- Defense improves dramatically against the run, possibly a top 12 defense oint he league. Double the turnovers, expect more QB pressure and more sacks (35-40 for the season)
Opponents will be playing from behind most of the year.
- Bills win the division at 11-5, Pats 9-7, Jets 8-8, Fins 8-8.
Bills get to AFC Championship game, home field determines the winner.
McGahee works out to be 100%, and the bidding for Henry starts with a first round pick plus more. Pittsburgh, NE, Dallas, Arizona, Jacksonville, Houston, Detroit, Maybe the Redskins head up the derby. With Ohio State's Maurice Clarrett, VT's Kevin Jones the best of the crop- bidding will be high-
-2004 draft wll be deep- Hopefully the Bills get a top 12 pick. DT Vince Wolfolk, QB Eli Manning, WRs Roy Williams & Rashaun Woods, OLB DJ Williams top the wish list.
2004 SB is ours!
