What are people's thoughts on Ko Simspon around here?? Is he the long term solution to play next to Donte like we originally thought he could be or are we going to have to look in another direction?

He's not screwing up which is good. I would like to see him make some more big plays in the run/pass game.

he hits harder than Whitner- that's for damn sure.

He's made a few mistakes, which is to be expected--no one is perfect--but overall he has been solid.

His biggest mistake so far was biting on the run fake and letting Burleson get wide open behind him on the pass that Burleson dropped in the Seattle game. But, that seemed to wake him up a bit and he has done a good job of getting back in coverage since then.

He's been decent in run support and in giving support on tackles on receivers after the catch, although he was part of that gaggle of Bills that got pushed back eight yards on that one M.Jones-Drew run in the Jax game where it seemed like no one on the Bills could tackle the ball-carrier.

I like Ko. If he can avoid the injury bug, he will be a dominate FS in this league.

I also think that if Buffalo can keep teams from running the ball that the Bills lightening quick secondary are going to find themselves in a many a situation were opposing teams are giving up the ball. Ko should have a decent take away count if the front 4 continue to do their job well.

Solid for the most part. Have never seen spectacular from him, and don't plan on seeing it either. Good special teams player too.

I'd say he's good enough for now. Not really a weak link.

I like him also, but he's gotta stay healthy, thats the only question mark I have about him

I think he is solid, and by the end of the season, I think he will have made a name for himself.

Seriously? Simpson seems like a weak hitter to me.

Bigger hitter than Whitner without a doubt, but not as sure a tackler.

He's still learning and most likely will get better.

He's already made 2 or 3 great hits on ST this year and had at least one good one on D. And it's only been 2 games.

I have noticed that he has made some good sticks this year but 2 years ago I was always remarking to myself what a pussy tackler Simpson was like he was almost afraid to make contact. He must have worked on that in the last year. IMO Whitner is the bigger hitter although neither crush guys.

Hard to work on something like that when you can barely walk...

For the Jags game, Does anyone know if Bryan Scott was substituting in for Whitner or Simpson.
I'm interested to see how Scott and Whitner play together.

neither crush guys.

I'll agree with that much.

Whitner came out of college with a reputation as a big hitter, but so far he hasn't shown it (other than the time he flattened CJ).
