Huge catch. Now Trent can move on to trusting Hardy not only early in the game but when the game is on the line. Get Lee extended and we'll see ya'll in SB next season.

Looks like his toe is on the paint

I haven't heard anyone question it.

I do think if they called it incomplete and the Bills challenged it though it would of stood as incomplete.

if that line was a sidewalk, he'd stub his toe on it. :D

I don't think you can say if it's definitively in or out from that image, but the ref was right there and called it in originally, so it has to stand.

Edwards needs to throw that ball a little earlier, but great job by Hardy to get both feet down since that's not something rookies have a lot of experience with.

I wonder if receivers wear white toed shoes for this reason

definitely looks like his foot is on the line to me. doesnt really matter though it counted (plus it was only 1st down anyway in case it was reversed).

I wanted to make this exact same thread after seeing that angle at the end of "An Anatomy of a Play".

The NFL Films camera angle to me, looked like the dude had some major paint on his foot, however those cameras aren't apart of the instant replay footage. But whatever, it was still a good catch.

Hardy's foot moves on the grass so that it eventually ends-up OOB. The only thing that matters though that initially his foot is in-bounds, which you can see in the picture by there being some green between the front of his foot and the sideline.

Agreed.

One of those plays that whatever way it was called on the field it woulda stayed.

There was no way to conclusively tell one way or another on that.

Even with that pic you can't tell if his toe is just inside the paint or just on the paint.

That's not really good evidence to support a completion there mybills.

Doesn't matter though it's a TD and will never be overturned. Put it in the record books.

way to close to call...

It's close. If they'd ruled him out, it would have stood up after review.

It looks like there is a dark area in front of his foot. If he was in, it was by 1-2 mm.

I've been trying, but I can't figure out how.
