Buffalo Sabres GM Darcy Regier Signs Contract Extension!

Larry Quinn (:ill:) just announced on SabresTV that Buffalo Sabres GM has signed a new 2-year extension to his current deal. So he will be with the Sabres for at least the next 3 years.

I know that I have bashed him quite a bit for letting a couple keys guys go, but it appears that the team has learned from their mistakes and are even giving long term deals now. Glad he's locked up! :up:

there was a rumor floating around out there, that if the Sabres didn't do this that Toronto was interested in getting him for their GM duties. Toronto has an interim GM Cliff Fletcher but they still don't have a full time GM
