    Finally Trent threw an INT

But I'm still confident as ever when he drops back to throw. I expect a guy with Bills jersey to catch it at the other end.

I'm a little surprised that they didn't allow him to throw once they got to the 19 yard line at the end. I'd like to get a little closer for Lindell. I thought at that time, the O-Line got a pretty good handle and a sack and fumble possibility is not that high.

the INT wasn't his fault, and the fumble he lost was the O-line's

Re: Finally Trent threw an INT

Although it will go in the books as an INT, it was a bad call, and Edwards has continued to show that he won't lose games with boneheaded plays.

I bet someone at the bar today $100 that we would win after the Raiders scored that TD with a little over 6 minutes to go.

That is the most confident I've been since the early 90's. I was nuts to make the bet but I'm very happy right now.

I 100% believe in Edwards. Did you see him on the sidelines firing everyone up!! The guy is for real.

Re: Finally Trent threw an INT

Not to beat a dead horse, but the "INT" was caught by Evans, and as he hit the ground the ball somehow rolled off him and DeAngelo Hall came up with it.

It was a ridiculous call. The replay clearly showed Evans down before the ball came out.

That was an awful call! I have no idea how they upheld the calling on the field after the review. Lee clearly had both hands on the ball while his knee was down. BUT we got the win and thats all i care about.

Re: Finally Trent threw an INT

Reading the ref's lips while he was talking to Jauron after the play, he clearly said "we can't review that". Now, I don't know what "that" was in particular, but could it be that they can't review a simultaneous catch? Or could it have been the whole "down by contact" thing?

So it seems that they were able to take a second look, but perhaps they weren't able to look at exactly what Jauron was trying for? Some one help out here...I'm a little lax on my rule book skills this evening...

yeah.. i cant for the life of me figure out how it went to trent as an int.. i mean the only way i can see it was to say that evans never controlled it.. but it never hit the ground and landed in halls lap.. it was horse**** though.

That was a first year Referee and what's that they say about the NFL.... NOT FOR LONG! He should have stayed put as a back judge or linesman in my opinion. I can't wait for Mike Perriera to explain that call away, as he is apt to do on NFL Network! Fairly lousy year for the zebras so far....
