All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
is what I heard on Sirius interview yesterday after the game, by a guy (I missed his name) from Scouts In., talking about young QBs in NFL. I remember he mentioned specifically that Edwards is not in a class with Cutler.
Well, Edwards is a year behind Cutler. We'll see by next year this time, he'll change people's mind.
he hasn't even started a full 16 games of football yet, of course he's not going to be anything more than a game manager...but im sorry...he didnt manage the game, he WON the past two games for us with clutch throws. not to mention our WR's and Oline stepping up big along with some key big runs by Lynch.
you dont "manage" a game by throwing almost 300 yards.
He's in his second year and he looks way ahead of the curve...
As has been said, he's already had two come from behind victories.
Some people just need to get a grip.
Here's how Scouts Inc works. They look at stats and give opinions. They don't watch any games. So if they see Cutler throwing 400 yards 4 TDs and Trent 225 yards 1 TD, they label each player accordingly regardless of how those stats are achieved.
Yesterday McNabb threw for 196 yards 1 TD and 1 INT. He's just a game manager like Trent Dilfer.
The term game manager has been around a while.
The definition of a game manager is a QB that won't lose the games for you, but can't win them on his arm alone either. Does this discribe Trent?

not even close. Trent has carried this team on his back in the 4th quarter the last 2 games.
I dont care if hes a game manager a game winner or a doorstop. Bills are winning! Before this year, I cant remember the last time I told my wife the Bills were good... It happened this year.
There will always be haters and lovers. Somewhere along the line, they have to finally say, If we win with Trent, stick with him. Sometimes it can be just about the ability to win you games. I'd rather take the ability to win games than a godly armed Cannon qb with no brains...*cough* jp *cough*

I'd take Edwards over Cutler at this time last year.
My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.
