All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I'm sure that some people know that the last time were in first by ourselves in the division was week 2 2003 (that's the year we opened by beating New England 31-0, and won week 2 as well...)
Does anyone happen to know the last time we were in first place by ourselves after week 8?

The biggest thing we learned from the Bills is that they are a resilient bunch and did what they had to do to win instead of past years where they fold like a cheap lawn chair.

Alone in first? Yes, week 13 of '96 with a 9-3 record.
The following week we were tied with the Pats at 9-4.
The '99 team was good but 2 games behind the Colts that late in the season.
You know what? I was thinking about the '99 team - we did have a better record than the Jets, Pats, and Phins in week 17. I had forgotten that the Colts were in the division at the time. So I think that Draz was right.
