The main reason's simple, Cassel's no Brady and that's going to kill them. The defense is old and slow. They will be a 7 and 9 team. Time to draft a new QB to replace Brady bum of a backup Cassel. LOL!

with a couple of injuries any team could go 7 and 9...or worse...

don't wish it on others...karma is a *****.

How many Super Bowl losers have made the playoffs the next year?

Off the top of my head:

Chicago - no
Seattle - yes
Philly - no
Carolina - no
Oakland - no
St. Louis - no
Giants - ?
Tennessee - no
Atlanta - ?

They were exposed as frauds when the NY Giants beat them in the Super Bowl.

I wish it were true, but how then do you explain the 18 games prior to that?

With Brady out, Manning, Saturday and Sanders hurt for the Colts, and Merriman out for San Diego, we need to capitalize on a fantastic opportunity this year. There's a good chance New England will miss the playoffs this year, but I'm a bit leery about writing them off after one bad game, and it's definitely too early to assume they won't be back next year.
