Kyle Williams spent time in the Raiders' backfield

It looks like the Buffalo Bills have more than one run stuffer on their interior defensive line.

Defensive tackle Marcus Stroud gets most of the attention, but his running mate, Kyle Williams, is making it hard for opposing teams to ignore him. The third-year pro had one of the best games of his brief career during the Bills’ 24-23 win over the Oakland Raiders.

Williams was credited with four tackles, but his impact was greater than that. He spent most of the day in the Raiders’ backfield, and when he didn’t make the tackle he created enough of a disruption to free up someone else to make the play.

Not bad for a former fifth-round draft pick.

I did my imperonation of a blind squirrel when this guy was drafted telling a bunch of friends that night the Bills had a keeper in the 5th round.

It is not often I get one right, but I might have here. He obviously has benefitted by the presence of Stroud but has made plays. Sometimes I wonder if McCargo is limited in PT, not just because of McCargo, but because you don't want Williams off the field.

Built like a fire hydrant with legs, the 6-foot-1, 306-pound Williams plays with excellent leverage and uses his quickness and strength to shed blockers and slice through gaps.

I agree. I was surprised when he was named starter ahead of McCargo, but now I see why.

The guy is playing like an all-pro DT!!

Have you really watched him? He's not playing good, he's playing unblieveable.

I wasn't. He was a beast in Training Camp and was very good in the pre-season. I always liked what he did and thought he was very underrated.

                      He's a former LSU Tiger.

Glenn Dorsey may need someone like Stroud to make him look better.

                        'Nuff said.

As an LSU alumn, all I have to say is...

                        GEAUX TIGERS!

Josh Reed is an LSU Tiger as well.

Trent Green will be running for his collective life on Sunday.

Heck yeah, if there is ever a week for an eight+ sack game it's this one. Barron should get destroyed by Kelsay all day long and Schobel shouldn't have too much of an issue against Pace.
