    We lost another Bills fan

He used to work with my Dad and I knew him for 25 years.

Big time Bills fan, he just loved the team and was always great to talk with about the team, draft, FA, etc. He attempted to form a Chautauqua County Bills fan club with my parents. Unfortanetly, they did so in the era of the QB trio of suck (Ferragamo, Dufek and Mathison) so because of that (and other reasons that are not critical) it never worked out and it was disbanded.

My parents had not talked to him for a month or so and did even know he was sick, although he said he beat prostate cancer.

Have fun talking to Sestak, Russert and others. Maybe they will win it for this year or sometime soon.

Gary L. Griffin, 69, of 3432 Busti-Stillwater Road, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 24, 2008) in WCA Hospital, following a brief illness.

Christina Anderson, a member of the Parteers Golf League, recorded her first hole-in-one on No. 3 at Willow Run Golf Course. Witnessing the shot were Nancy Baker, Susie Stuart and Judy Bentley. Submitted photo

I didn't come here to fight, I hate fighting. Life is way too short to spend it on fighting! Go fight with yourself, one of you will eventually win!

It's testament to his love of the Bills that he would start such a chapter when there was little to cheer about.

If you hear the Bills fans in the stadium out cheer the other team then you know we have help from above. :)

"If you build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day, but if you set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life"

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty.

to be led by permanent ideals -
that is what keeps a man patient
                            when the world ignores him,
