dude.. that sig is way to big.. and coming from me.. that is alot.. as i have been known to sport some large ones.. but that is at least 2.5 times the size of the biggest one i have ever had.. shrink it man!

    as far as the interview..

drew said he will have willis in camp in time, signed

he also said that he will be approaching these contract negotiations with the attitude that willis WILL be ready to play by the beginning of this season.

That's just the size that Brian got my thing in. Tonight I will try to shrink it, but I am not that good with photoshop, etc.

        That could be a problem,

The fact that Drew thinks McGahee is ready to start day 1, he will be looking for a more up front contract than incentive based. If the bills dont play him this year... could be a lot of money being wasted.

i agree Pride.... we also dont wanna rush anything since we have a pro bowl running back and a former 1000+ rusher. I trully doubt we'll take the risk and let him play this season, it could hurt us in the long run...we can buy time until he's 100%.

yeah.. drew did say on PTI that he is treating this contract negotiation like WM will be 100% for training camp.... i can see it getting ugly.

                    exactly gunz!

the ball is completely in their court. THey dont have much leverage. Essentially, the Bills have an entire YEAR to work out a deal...

TD is just the GM to put Drew in his place. I wonder is TD will pay Willis an amount that could insult Henry.

I don't believe the Bills have an entire year to sign McGahee to a contract. If McGahee is not signed by sometime next offseason, I believe he re-enters the draft. I think he would make more after re-entering the draft (where he'd be a top-5 pick if healthy) than he would signing for the rookie cap room the Bills have at #23. They still have a long time to sign him, but if they don't sign him by week 7 or 8, I think Drew and Willis have the upper hand in negotiations.

Then again, it's a deep draft (but not very deep at RB- Maurice Clarrett is the top guy- he's a sophmore)

But He'll be coming off an injury AND a hold out- he just might slip to 23 or WORSE next draft.

Buffalo will continue to negotiate- it won't be rock bottom- but it wil be incentive laden. It also might be heavily backloaded- we could sign him for longer term (5 years? ) with the bigger payday in years 3-4-5. If he works out he will have earned it and Henry will be long gone.

WM has specifically said that he would not re-enter the draft next season.

"As for rejecting Buffalo’s offer and re-applying for the 2004 NFL draft in hopes of improving his draft number, McGahee has assured the Bills that won’t happen."
