    From SI/CNN on AVP

"They had to do something at quarterback. Last year the word was out to defensive linemen around the league that if they had a shot at Rob Johnson, they should let him go down easy, because if he went out, they'd have to face Alex Van Pelt . "

Is it me, or is this saying defenses would rather face AVP?? I dunno, but he hasn't really done anything that would scare me...thoughts?

He's looked pretty bad this season though, from what I've seen

The WCO is suited for AVP, he is a smart, tho not particularly physically gifted,QB. Hey the WCO worked for Brady why not AVP. If he does get much time at QB, maybe he could be shifted to DL.

Well AVP is a second string caliber QB. Unlike RJ who's 3rd string caliber. So, I would be more worried about AVP.

                bfo...lets be honest...johnson isn't a 3rd stringer...he doesn't even deserve to be on a team.
                Thank you.

True BillsNYC. I keep kicking myself thinking that I once thought RJ was the QB of the future. Man was I wrong. He's not even good enough to be a backup.

it's funny...all RJ would have to do is throw a few balls away, and he'd be a starter.

                    seems simple...

RJ's great in a practice setting, but he just doesn't manage an offense well and quickly gets the 'Deer in the Headlights' look.

I'd go a step past that LOG, if he'd throw the ball away he'd be a star....he just doesn't seem to get it. That's one thing that Bledsoe does well...he's not scared to take a hit...but when he doesn't have to, he'll throw it away

Man, if he got injured that often and teams were telling their DL to take it easy on him when he got tackled, what would happen if they actually went all out? Is it possible to finish a negative number of games?
