    Totally Official Bills @ Rams Equipment Thread

    Green Will Use Special Equipment

    September 8, 2008

    St. Louis - The Rams have announced that new starting quarterback Trent Green will be using a new piece of equipment designed to help him avoid what is likely to be steady pressure applied by the Buffalo Bills in their 4:00 PM contest starting later today. Team doctors advised Green to use the equipment in an effort to stay on his feet and provide some additional mobility in hopes he can escape the rush and make plays to keep the Rams competitive.

    Team officials have provided a photo of the new equipment:

                    In further news, Green will also be wearing a custom helmet specially designed to prevent him from sustaining further concussions that threatened his career just a few years earlier. Doctors are confident the new helmet will fully protect Green without any hindrance to his current mobility :
