I'm sticking with 17... But it's only an educated guess.

Bills had played the Rams 9 times previous to yesterday. I'm assuming that roughly 2 RB's (not rushing WR's or QB's) had at least 1 rush per each game. The games where spaced out so it's not likely that the same RB's took part in 2 different games.

ya this is a tough one, im finding it hard to find full box scores for some of the 70's games, so i cant see how many guys actually ran.

1998: 4 (Greg Hill, Amp Lee, Derrick Harris, Jerald Moore)
1995: 4 (Greg Robinson, Johnny Bailey, Jerome Bettis, Leonard Russell)
1992: ? (probably Cleveland Gary and David Lang)
1989: ? (probably Greg Bell, Cleveland Gary and Buford McGee)
1983: ? (Eric Dickerson and probably Barry Redden)
1980: ? (Mike Guman, and probably Cullen Bryant, Elvis Peacock & Jewerl Thomas)
1974: ? (probably Lawrence McCutcheon, Jim Bertleson, John Cappellitti and Tony Baker)
1970: ? (Willie Ellison and probably Les Josephson, Larry Smith, Tommy Mason)

Nah...

Czonka/Kiick, Thomas/Davis... It was usually 2 RB's.

BTW... 2008 doesn't count with this question.
