In a special two-part series, Fantasy Football insider Michael Fabiano takes a team-by-team look at the 2003 NFL Draft and its effect on the upcoming Fantasy season.

Arizona Cardinals
Bryant Johnson, WR, Penn State (Round 1): After losing its top three receivers via free agency, selecting Johnson wasn't much of a surprise. He is a big, muscular receiver with good speed who can gain separation from opposing cornerbacks with his quick moves. He might play a prominent role in the offense if he performs well during training camp, but Johnson still won't be worth taking until the late rounds on Draft Day.

Notes: Four of Arizona's seven picks were defensive players, including Wake Forest defensive end Calvin Pace (Round 1) and Pittsburgh linebacker Gerald Hayes (Round 3). The Cardinals defense needs to prove it can be productive before warranting Fantasy consideration. ... The addition of Florida State wide receiver Anquan Boldin (Round 2) and Larry Foster (trade w/Detroit) helps bolster what was a thin receiving corps, but neither will make a serious Fantasy impact in 2003.
