Kudos to Matt Bryant, and prayers for him and his family:

In Matt Bryant (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6243/;_ylt=AvmAjswK7_xo1.M04YPntfcLubYF)’s mind, the only way to honor the memory of his son was to go out and play.
But Bryant was much more than a passive participant Sunday for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/tam/;_ylt=AniVljoXoj.Mfh6CRzhcr74LubYF). Four days after the tragic death of his infant son, Bryant kicked three field goals to help the Bucs beat the Green Bay Packers (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/gnb/;_ylt=AkwZs1cXD5dsuEQseYbKHw0LubYF), 30-21.
It was an inspirational ending to a devastating week for Bryant, whose 3-month-old son - Matthew Tryson Bryant - died at home on Wednesday.
Many speculated whether Bryant would play in the wake of such tragedy. But the thought of missing Sunday’s game never came into question for the seven-year veteran.
“I just buried my son yesterday,” Bryant said. “The biggest thing for me, yeah it crossed my mind, I wanted to honor Tryce’s name. I didn’t think it was fair for his life to end so short. The best way I felt I could get out and honor him (was to play).”

“I can’t say enough about Matt Bryant and what he’s been through and what he’s done today,” Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden said. “What a great performance under the circumstances.”
