View Full Version : Peter King is not an idiot this week

MVP of the Quarter: Trent Edwards, QB, Buffalo. My MVP is tied for 12th in touchdown passes with 4, 10th in passing yards with 930, and 10th in passer rating at 93.5. But the Bills are 4-0, and the difference is an efficient quarterback who, like all the great ones, plays better when the game's on the line than any other time of the game.

The Bills trailed 16-10 at Jacksonville in the fourth quarter, and Edwards threw a beautiful rainbow to James Hardy in the corner of the end zone to win it. The Bills trailed Oakland by nine with six minutes left, and Edwards led scoring drives to win it. The Bills trailed St. Louis by eight at the half Sunday, and Buffalo put up 25 points in the last 30 minutes to rout the Rams. He's got the steady-handed Brady cool about him too.

I'm a little surprised at them being ranked 5. He has WAY too much love for the NFC East. No way Washington should be ranked ahead of us.

guy still ranks the patriots in the top ten and his defense of it is because troy brown is a good guy. i don't buy it.

and then he talks about smelling too much. first last week it was the bills game that didn't smell right and then smelling a photo op with mangini, the governor of NJ and deer.

5. Buffalo (4-0). I don't know what Sunday's game means. The pathetic Rams got 380 yards on the unbeaten Bills. The Bills kept St. Louis scoreless for the final 43 minutes. Trent Edwards was an efficient 15 of 25. Edwards threw a pick and got sacked four times. The details aren't as important as the win. We all know that. I just don't know what this game means.
I don't know what his rambling means either. Between "something doesn't smell right" and "I don't know what the game means", he sure has no real opinion about anything.

Shirley King is flipflopping .

Not surprising. Last week in his Mailbag he promised to talk about the bills more because of how well they were doing. 2 days later he picked the worst team in football to beat us.

i generally enjoy reading his articles, but hes no nostradamus (sp?).

How he ranks New England, who barely squeezed by KC and Jets, and just got blown out by Miami a week ago, at #10, yet the 3-1 Denver, highest scoring team in the league, at #15, is completely beyond me. The only thing I can think of is the fact that he's a Patriot licker.

So yes, even though he wrote nice things about the Bills this week, he's still an idiot.

I couldn't care less about what the media thinks about us. I just want to get to 5-0.

he's just being a typical writer. Their opinions sway depending where the wind blows. If they are right , they'll gloat. If they are wrong they will just change their opinion to make it look like they know what they are talking bout.

He will always be Shirley Temple in IMO.

No other division has played better thus far. Every other division only has 1 true contender in it. They have 4 now.
