According to Yahoo sports...
From 2001-2007
Tom Brady
Has averaged being sacked 29 times/year since 2001. His high being 41 times in 2001, his low being 21 last year.
Peyton Manning
Averaged being sacked 19.2 times/year since 2001. His high being 29 in 2001 and his low being 13 in 2004, and 14 in 2006 (SuperBowl Champs)
WOW...
Eli Manning
Sacked 4 times all of last year. Total yards lost - 35. Superbowl champs.
Brett Favre
Since 2001 - Averaged being sacked 19.8/year. High being 26, Low being 12.
This should be the Bills OL benchmark. If we can keep Edwards from being sacked well under 40 times/year, I think that's very good.
He's on target for 44.
Before yesterdays game, he was on target for 37, still high though.
