listening to tonights game

does anyone know where to listen to the game online? I think radio stations have an agreement with the NFL and they are selling fieldpass...but I notice 97 rock broadcasts the bills game every week. What gives here and can you listen or watch the game online?

WGR550 has it I believe. But I don't know about being able to listen to it online. I know they block the Rome show because he has subscription for his show on his website.

I hope it's on wgr. I don't think it was on last week. I hope they don't block it but I also wished I understood the "rules" of these broadcasts. Thanks for the info.

it turned to 8pm and now there is nothing being broadcast. How is it that 97 rock gets to transmit the game and no where else does?

Maybe it cost a certain amount to carry it with the whole fieldpass thing. 97 Rock might have been the only station to foot the bill. Or they just have rights over the Buffalo market. :idunno:

that's the kicker right there. Once a station broadcasts it then it gets everywhere. There is no geographic restrictions of the internet.

I did get a radio hooked up and found it on the radio. I live in a horrible place for radio reception.

You have to pay to listen to the NFL or any other league when they're out of market. 97 Rock has exclusive rights with the Buffalo Bills to broadcast their games. It's not free but I have heard of people logging on to their broadcast before kickoff and still being able to listen while the game is on. But that is not supposed to happen.
