Cards stadium roof status
Cardinals VP of media relations Mark Dalton stated that it's more of a sun than heat issue and that the roof usually isn't left open until mid-November for day games. The stadium was constructed in such a way to maximize sunshine on the grass to promote growth, while also reducing sun exposure to fans in the seats, but still the sun is apparently an issue as powerful as it is down there. Once the roof is closed prior to the game it must remain closed throughout. Having the roof closed might be a good thing for the Bills. The Cardinals won all three of their home games last season in which the roof was open. --- |
