NFL power rankings - Week 5

By RYAN STETSON - Associate Editor
You want to talk about parity in the NFL this season? There are a full 10 teams with even 2-2 records and no club really distancing itself from the rest of the pack. Dallas barely holds on to the top spot this week, but there are as many as four or five clubs that could be ready to make a move.

Let's not get carried away with T.O. drama already. Tough loss, though they might be better for it down the road.

This defense so good that I find myself forgetting Kerry Collins is their quarterback. Now that's an accomplishment

Can't stand people dumping on the Bills because of the soft early schedule. They're taking care of their own business.

I'm not sure I agree with us being that high just yet but damn if he didn't hit the nail on the head about his comments on the parity in the league and the Bills.

Kerry bumps The Titans off and Dallas wet the bed at home.

It lost any credibility for me when I saw the Bucs in at 5, and I dont really think we deserve to be ahead of the G-men yet.

That's more like it for the Bills.

Not sure I agree with us being that high but it sure is nice for this team to be getting some media love

Third's probably high, but at least the writer took a stand against the people criticizing the Bills for the teams they've beaten. In the NFL, where anything can happen during a given week, I don't see a need to ever apologize for victory.

Imagine that. The start was suppose to be one of the harder part of our schedule. Those who saw the bills in their schedule prior to the season starting most likely said " thats an easy game" but at the end of the year they will be saying they had a hard schedule because they had to play the bills.

Oh, another thing: I haven't heard word one about the Giants needing OT to nip the Bengals two weeks ago, but the Bills get criticized for beating the Raiders by one (who damn near knocked off the Chargers) and the Rams by 17.

It's a struggle to win; the sooner people realize it, the more content they'll be.

                    1. Giants
                    2. Cowboys
                    3. Titans
                    4. Chargers
                    5. Redskins
                    6. Bills

That's how I'd rank the top six.
