WOW!

The weirdest presser ever, though so far not a presser as much as a sermon.

Al makes his points, but its like watching a Desperate Housewives episode.

Interesting and bizarre, but Goodell is not going to be pleased with this.

Singling out Mortenson as a "liar," and airing all of this preliminary gamesmanship that is the work of attorneys is an ugly facet of this.

Lesson for us all, in all aspects of life.

Handle problems early.

If its ugly in February, it will be hideous by September.

Al Davis is a moron and quite possibly handled this the worst way possible.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought that Al Davis was brought back from the dead. However, it appears he never died and was just live on TV today.

Al Davis is such a jackass.

Hope Lane Kiffin got a good lawyer.

Plus Roger Goodell seriously needs to step in. The Raider's won't go any where with Al Davis making un professional decisions.

Go Get him Lane Kiffin.

Al Davis is a moron and quite possibly handled this the worst way possible. I totally agree.

I heard most of that Al Davis presser. He called it just to tell his side of the story, explaining why he felt he needed to fire Lane Kiffin. The problem is, he came across as trying to justify it to the press, smearing Lane Kiffin, and brought up a lot of other people's names including Monte Kiffin, some Arkansas big wig, scouts and insiders. He wanted to make it sound like it was all Lane Kiffin's fault and he deserved to be fired without pay. What he neglects to address is why he had so many coaches either failed or left the job, and nobody wants to work for him. Player came and went, and so were the coaches, yet the team continued to suck. What's the common denominator? Ah, it's HIM.

Idk if I heart it on here or elsewhere, but apparently he referred to Kiffin as "Lance" at the announcement of his hiring...

quite an odd start to an even more odd, short tenure.
