I know a guy who works for Pepsi in WNY and he stated that Buffalo is the only major city in the US where Pepsi is more popular than Coke. Also where Burger King is more popular than Mcdonalds. Buffalonians don't follow the crowd.

IMO Coke has a medicine flat taste to me.

“We are proud of our affiliation with the Buffalo Sabres, who, like Coca-Cola, have a long history rooted right here in Western New York,” Coca-Cola Bottling of Buffalo vice president and general manager Peter Benzino said. “We look forward to many years of success and excitement both on and off the ice.”

Wow this post by me is long overdue...

1. Coke is sooooo much better than Pepsi
2. Arena concessions are provided by sportservice which works HSBC Arena, The Ralph, and Dunn-Tire Park. I always assumed that Sportservie was in an agreement with Pepsi to sell their drinks but apparently the Sabres can overrule that. All of our fountain machines are going to have to be replaced. And If i'm not mistaken, many of the sportservice cups we serve have the pepsi logo so this is quite the overhaul.

The Coke logo is stupid and only a :limp: would want that as our official soft drink. Plus its obvious references to illegal drugs could only turn our youth to those same illicit drugs, not to mention that Coke is a gateway softdrink to much harder drinks. Rum and Coke, Bourbon and Coke or the dreaded Jack and Coke. You don't hear of Jack and Pepsi do you? That's because the Jack can't handle the Pepsi. I am bringing a Pepsi label to the games to cover up that horrible looking bottle.

I might have to start a petition.

all of the places here sell coke products except the carrier dome still does pepsi, and a few others thats about it... and we have the famous clintons' ditch bottling plant in cicero.

and i wasn't saying you were wrong or any of that...... but if the sabres want to buck tradition...... i just hope this isnt the final straw for some?
