QB Arizona--Ranking 4th on the Wildcats all-time yards list, Johnson amassed 5,749 yards playing only two seasons as a starter. Due to the lack of a consistent backfield, he was prone to turning the ball over.
Starting in all 12 games last season, Johnson completed 239 of his 410 passes (58.3%) for 3,327 yards (single-season school record) with 16 TDs and 13 Ints. Had 3 very notable games; throwing for 416 yards against Utah, 443 yards against Washington and 492 yards against California (breaking the school single-game record).
I know we have two very capable backups, but this should make for a fun battle for the number three spot. Brown is decent, and who knows if Johnson can even produce in the NFL, but I'm interested in seeing what this guy can do.
