6 Million in cap space.. "Wait and see"?

thought this was a good question from the other site...

we have 6 million in cap space.. 2 million to sign rookies..

WTF are we going to do with it??? we are not going to just let it sit.

TD said at the end of his recent radio interview.. "wait and see"

what the hell does he have up his sleeve?

    i don't know, but...

i hope it involves shaun rogers.

by the way..why is chester mcglockton not on a team yet? could be good DT Depth/rotation

    maybe marcus robinson?

who knows, but there doesn't seem to be many stud players without a team. i don't know what players we could spend the money on.

OL and/or receiving TE. Like Donahoe said FA is not a sprint, but rather a marathon.

i know the popular thing to really get the mood back after the highly questioned first round pick would be resign winfield..extend schobel and sullivan.. keep our core of young players is what i am saying.

agreed, I think we should focus on getting Winfield resigned, as well as locking Schobel up for a longer term.

Maybe pick up a TE or OL.

            yeap. that would be nice

extend jennings and winfield, sign a TE like Kyle Brady or similar TE, and maybe a FA DT like McGlockton...I really think we need more depth at DT. Big body depth.

I think TD is waiting for the next set of cap casualities. I agree they should lock up winfield and co. The more offensive threats the better. trade?

the june 1st cuts should tell what TD might do.

If it is true that the Bills were going to draft Ty Warren if he was available indicates to me that TD still wants DT depth. You have to figure he will sign one more DT for depth. Just not sure if it will be Mcglockton or wait and see who is available after June 1st.

Yeah i think he is waiting on June 1st cuts before he is making any moves . You never know who may be released . I think extending winfields contract wont even affect the money we have remaining maybe just a little. I also think that getting a pass catching tight end isnt a major deal because we had 1 last year and we hardly used him and Dave Moore did an excellent job last year. I would like too see Marcus Robinson sign!!!!!

Along with the June 1st cuts theory . . .

By then, we will have a much better feel for how our injured FA signings are doing. If they all recover, great. If, say Jones, is still struggling to rehab, TD can use the spare cap room to pursue a better quality DT on June 2nd.
Still searching for that offensive rhythm.

I think Jones is doing well.

He probably has to keep some insurance money. We have no clue what NLTBE bonuses are in these contracts. Remember, NLTBE bonuses do not kick in until the final cut down. He may have $2-$3 million tied up that we have no clue about. CP and I do our best to get as many numbers as possible but we are not insiders. There is no way for us to know the intricacies of every contract.
