Do you have to have Superfan to get all the Ticket HD channels?

I'm not getting the games in HD unless they're televised locally.

Yes I was pissed when I found out I had to pay $100 bucks to get the HD channels but it is definitely worth it!

as long as you have a decent tv and you have surround man.......you will be just fine. hd is highly overrated in my mind. i mean if you have a plasma or lcd tv you already anti upped on the pic from a tube tv. ive seen plenty of hd shows.....there is a difference but just not worth the money.

You are crazy to say it's a little better...lol. I can't even watch shows that aren't in HD anymore they look horrible. Besides if you have a HDTV and Directv then you probably got this to watch football, go spend a little extra money to get the full use out of your investment.

Exactly, if you dropped that much on an HDTV to begin with, it's silly to not make sure you're using it's capabilities.

When I first got my HDTV I deliberately found a show that aired both ways. It happened to be Mike & Mike..on the reg channel I couldn't see what time it said on his watch, in HD I could see the freaking second hand ticking. Sorry, but spaz is right..it's not a "little".

naa....dont have hdtv....got my plasma like 3 years ago hdtv was way to expensive at the time so i settled for edtv....enhanced def.
it was an upgrade in it self just going to the plasma from tube. im fine ....sitting at home with my surround blaring to the bills game. i dont watch a whole lot of tv anyways. a couple tv shows and the bills is about all. i opted for dvr instead of the hd packages from direct tv. ok maybe a lil was an understatment. but i just dont buy into the hype man. its not my thing. as long as i got my tv and i gots my surround going so i can here that one guy in the crowd telling warner he sucks ass.....im good

I can just wait til next year when all TV is in High Def.
