You're right. I mean our O shouldn't have to control the ball at all. We should just force the D to take on the game by themselves. Yes they couldn't get off the field but our O didn't do any favors for the D today. I guess it is just happened to be the day that JP plays 99% of the game.

However watching JP try to manage the offense is just painful.

1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, throw the ball JP, 1005, now throw it, 1006, WTF, run do something, 1007, fumble, sack, whatever....

He is not even a deceent backup people. No he didn't lose us the game but he contributed nicely to the end result.

Obviously this game doesnt fall entirely on JP's shoulders. Only about 80% is his fault, lmao.

The more 3 and outs, the less time your defense has to rest.. not that hard of a concept. Tonight looked to me like a typical JP game. One decent play, then a whole lot of nothing. He still looked confused in the pocket. I doubt our receivers are worse than the Jets receivers.. yet they put up HUGE numbers against that defense. Sure, they got their SS back but he cant account for every play out there.
